Chicken CSA (Whole)

Reserve Good Wheel Chickens and pick up the 2nd Saturday of the month (May-September).  These birds will be fresh and processed on farm in our own facility which means little to no transport stress, attention to detail and care from us the farmers, and the freshest poultry you’ve ever experienced. Our slow growing birds are all pasture and orchard raised and fed certified organic feed to supplement their foraging of forbs, seeds, insects, and grasses.    You’ll receive a total of 10 whole chickens, each averaging over 3.7 lbs. In short, becoming a CSA member ensures you a 5% discount, the best chicken dinner, and the peace of mind that you won’t miss out on our chicken when we sell out.  Pickup will be the 2nd Saturday of the month at the North Asheville Tailgate Market (8 am - 12 pm). Pickup dates: May 9, June 13, July 11, August 8, September 12. Thank you!  Be an early bird & sign up by the end of April!
